I have been involved in the sports industry throughout my life, mainly as a player but also as a coach. My passion is football, and I have played at a high level, experiencing both the highs—such as scoring last-minute winners or lifting trophies—and the lows, including being released from an academy. Throughout my youth, I played for various academies, which has now led me to play college football in America. I know what it takes to work hard, stay committed, and push beyond limits, and I bring that same mindset into everything I do. My journey is a great example that everyone’s path to success is different. I’ve always believed it is crucial to embrace the journey, and I encourage other athletes to adopt the same mentality.

I'm William Bretvik, and football has been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, the game shaped everything—my discipline, my mindset, my goals. From kicking a ball around as a kid in Norway to competing at higher levels, football has never just been a sport for me—it’s been a lifestyle. That passion eventually took me across the world, and today I’m playing college soccer in the United States. It’s been a journey full of challenges, growth, and unforgettable moments on and off the pitch. Along the way, I’ve learned how important the small things are—preparation, mentality, and the gear you trust on game day. That’s what inspired me to co-found a grip sock brand: not just to create a product, but to build something that reflects the mindset of players who live for the game.
